Every route on one map
Designated byways are drawn as route lines, so the statewide system is visible at a glance.
A mobile-friendly map of Florida's officially designated scenic byways, built so travelers can find routes nearby, understand the drive, and keep using the guide with weak signal.
01 · Why it exists
Florida's designated scenic byways are spread across agency pages, PDFs, separate microsites, and inconsistent route descriptions. That makes it hard to see the statewide system or find a route near where someone already is.
This project puts those routes into one map and guide, with enough detail to help someone decide what is worth driving without turning planning into research work.
Trip planning
Designated byways are drawn as route lines, so the statewide system is visible at a glance.
Travelers can search by byway, county, or nearby area instead of browsing disconnected pages.
Location access can surface the scenic routes closest to the traveler right now.
The PWA model helps route information stay available in rural stretches with inconsistent signal.
